If Tesla sometimes takes time, even a lot of time, to sell its products, in terms of charging stations, the American company is reacting, to put it mildly.
Indeed, during the Tesla Investor Day, the brand announced the arrival of the first V4 Superchargers in Europe, and several terminals have already been installed in the Netherlands. Remember that these terminals have several interesting functions, in particular, they make it easier to charge electric models of other brands thanks to longer cableSupercharger stations are gradually opening to everyone.

To record charging power?
These 16 terminals have been working for two weeks now, and they will gradually democratize in Europe. We do not yet know their detailed technical description, but after the leak, it would seem that the first information is already available. And good news, V4 chargers don’t just need a longer charging cable.
Indeed, the photo of the specification sheet shows that the voltage is increased to 1000 V and the current is 615 A. In theory, this could allow the terminal to output up to The power is 600 kW, which is roughly double that of the V3 Supercharger, which is currently limited to 250kW. This is the peak, and no electric car on sale at the moment will be able to reach 600 kW, even on the side of Tesla.
With this new technology, Tesla would surpass ABB’s Terra 360 terminals, which, as the name suggests, are approved for 360 kW.
What other news around Tesla?
At the moment, the news around Tesla revolves around the famous Model 2, which was not announced during the Investor Day, but it could be on the occasion of another event that will take place later this year.
We also expect the Tesla Model 3 facelift, which is slowly coming, as well as the appearance on our roads of two models: the Tesla Cybertruck and the Roadster. Production of the two cars should begin next year, barring another delay.
