This is news that should please motorists in this difficult period for everyone. Despite the fact that the price of fuel is still very high and has been for more than a year, in particular due to the ongoing war in Ukraine, we are now seeing a slight drop. Something that will cheer drivers who have been caught by the throat by the increase in prices at the pump stations, as well as tolls since February 1. And this is especially felt now, when we are in the midst of the school holidays.

A small drop
So, over the past few days, the price of fuel has seen a very small drop, which comes after several weeks of stagnation or even increases. According to the weekly reporting, which is conducted at the beginning of each week in Ministry of Ecological Transitionlast week, a liter of diesel fuel cost 1.81 euros, which was then equivalent to a drop of 2.8 euro cents. For its part, unleaded 95 E10 became cheaper by 0.9 cents to 1.87 euros per liter. So it’s cheaper than diesel and has been for a few weeks now.
Insignificant impact of the embargo
Contrary to what one might fear,Russian oil embargo introduced by the European Union ultimately did not raise fuel prices here. If the end of the discount of 10 cents clearly caused a small increase, you should remember that you can always request a fuel surcharge of 100 euros. You only have one month left to file on the tax website you want to use.
