According to Chery, the “O” in Omoda stands for “brand new,” while “Moda” stands for the world of fashion. This new Chinese firm is preparing to export to Europe, starting with the upcoming launch of the SUV in 2024 Omoda C5which is already sold in China from 2021 as Chery Omoda 5, or in Russia as Omoda C5.

Omoda C5: compact and modern SUV

The Omoda C5 unveiled at the 2021 Guangzhou Motor Show is a Compact SUV 4.40 meters in length, 1.83 meters in width and 1.59 meters in height, with a wheelbase of 2.63 meters.
