
It’s time to go through the restyling box for the BMW X6. The well-known coupe SUV from the Bavarian firm, the technical cousin of the BMW X5, has received an updated intermediate version with some interesting new features, especially inside.
The entire line of engines is electrified, in particular with micro-hybrid thermoblocks, but BMW is still skipping the plug-in hybrid for its X6unlike the X5.
BMW X6 restyling: some aesthetic changes
The BMW X6 gets new, 35mm slimmer LED headlights, while the air intakes are slightly revised, while the still-impressive grille has been slightly redesigned. The car is also available with a bright radiator grille.
At the back, we find headlights similar to the outgoing generation, but with a slightly modified light signature.
Restyled BMW X6: new infotainment system
The cabin of the X6 develops mainly on the same level, with acceptance curved screen consisting of a 12.3-inch instrument panel and a 14.9-inch infotainment screen with the BMW iDrive 8 operating system.
The seats are equipped with the new “Sensafin” upholstery, which imitates natural leather, and have heating, ventilation and massage functions. Genuine leather is still available through the classic Merino leather upholstery available in the BMW Individual catalog.
In the standard configuration, the restyled X6 is equipped with an adaptive M suspension. As options, BMW offers rear-wheel steering and an active anti-roll bar system. The car is also equipped with auxiliary systems, including collision warning, active lane keeping, traffic sign recognition and parking assistant.
BMW X6 restyling: plug-in hybrid without subscribers
