Introduced last fall, the A-Class’s recent facelift now ends with its departure Mercedes-CLA4-door coupe or Shooting Brake silhouette.

Mercedes has been careful with this updated facelift, and only a trained eye will be able to spot the new features that this facelifted version of the CLA brings.

Mercedes CLA restyling: discreet retouched look

In terms of external design, the model received a new light signature, front LED lights, a new, more dynamic front bumper, a sportier grille with a star motif, not to mention a redesigned rear diffuser. The set has been supplemented new wheels 17 inchesavailable in two versions.

As for the sporty versions signed by AMG, new headlights appear at the front and rear, as well as a new specific grille, not to mention new 18-inch wheels. Version AMG 45 the most powerful is also offered with a livery “Street Edition”which features 19-inch matte black forged wheels, the AMG Aerodynamics Package, the AMG Night Package I and II, and an AMG fuel filler cap.

There is now a standard on board10.25-inch multimedia screen as standard, while a 10.25-inch phone is still offered as an option. Standard equipment has also been enriched with a steering wheel made of Nappa leather, new decorative elements made of dark carbon, comfortable seats upholstered in artificial leather and fabric, high beam assistant, a rearview camera, a USB package, as well as LED headlights.

in MBUX infotainment system generation adds Apple CarPlay and wireless Audroid Auto, a more advanced voice assistant, and immersive Dolby Atmos sound on the optional Burmester surround sound system.

Restyled Mercedes CLA: electrified engines

Gasoline engines under the hood CLA 180 (136 horsepower) and CLA 200 (163 horsepower) enriched with a 48 V mild hybridization system equipped with a new 10 kW starter-generator, and the version CLA 250e plug-in hybrid the power of its electric motor has increased to 109 horsepower and works together with a gasoline engine with a capacity of 163 horsepower.

On the diesel side, we find versions CLA 180d (116 horsepower), CLA 200d (150 horsepower) and CLA 220d (190 horsepower), while the engines of the AMG versions do not develop: CLA 35 AMG (306 horsepower) and CLA 45 AMG (421 horsepower).
