In France, thermal vehicles more and more exposed restriction of movement. To do this, each vehicle must display a “Crit’Air” thumbnail indicating its greenhouse gas emissions category. Category goes from 0 to 6 depending on the year of production of the vehicle and the type of fuel used. “0” stickers are given to electric or hydrogen vehicles, while “5” stickers are given to diesel cars registered between 1997 and 2000. You can check which category your car belongs to by online simulation on the government website.

This aims to reduce the traffic of the most polluting vehicles in order to protect air quality and the well-being of local residents.
