Cupra Tavascan: an electric SUV in the metaverse

Cupra Tavascan takes its name from Tavascan, a Spanish village located in the Pyrenees, a unique place with breathtaking views and famous for its ski resort. But contrary to what the name might suggest, Tavascan will not be produced in Spain, but in China.

Indeed, it is in Hefei, in eastern China, that the Cupra will produce its 100% electric SUV coupe at the Volkswagen Group’s Chinese plant. Tavascan will rely on MEB modular electric platform from the German group that also equips the Volkswagen ID.5, the Skoda Enyaq Coupé iV and the other Audi Q4 E-tron Sportback.

Cupra Tavascan: 306 horsepower electric motor
