Nissan at SEMA Show 2022: electric concepts
In partnership with Tommy Pike Custom (TPC), Nissan presents 2 100% electric concept cars : the first is this Nissan Sunny Leaf, a 1987 Sunny pickup truck equipped with a 100% electric motor borrowed from the Nissan Leaf, paired with a 40 kWh lithium-ion battery. The model offers 150 hp. and 320Nm of torque, which is about twice the power and three times the torque of the old standard Nissan Sunny four-cylinder petrol engine.
Car concept Nissan Ariya Surfwagon reimagines the new Nissan Ariya crossover as a beach vehicle with vinyl wood paneling and various other accessories, including surfboards mounted on the roof rails. There are also 20-inch “Smoothie” blue wheels with stainless steel wheel centers and white tires.

Nissan at SEMA Show 2022: extreme adventurers
The Nissan Frontier pickup truck, available on the American market and recently updated, inspired the creation of two concepts: extreme Nismo Off-Road Frontier V8, built by Forsberg Racing, is equipped with a Nissan Titan V8 engine and a special Nismo Off-Road exhaust, as well as a unique off-road suspension system. Also featured is a widebody Nismo Off-Road body kit with extensions and parts, including carbon fiber front fenders and hood, as well as a Nismo Off-Road front bumper with an improved angle of attack.
The second model is the 2022 Nissan Frontier King Cab S, featured by influencer Christina Rockey under the name A truck on the border street : it has received a modified and lowered body, as well as exclusive wheels and rides in the fashion of a “mini truck” of the 90s.
Nissan at the 2022 SEMA Show: the new Nissan Z in the spotlight
Nissan is also taking advantage of the US show to unveil its latest Nissan Z sports car: a variety of accessories to personalize the model are highlighted by the concept car Nismo Accessorized Zwhich, in particular, includes a Nismo twin-tube shock absorber, a new spring system and a height-adjustable suspension.
The Nissan Z 2023 Formula Drift Chris Forsberg’s 1,300 horsepower showcases the marque’s sports coupe ambitions in the Formula Drift world championship. This model was built on the 370Z by Forsberg Racing in collaboration with Nissan and Nismo and is powered by a VR38DETT twin-turbocharged V6 engine that has been significantly modified to produce 1,300 horsepower. It will be used in Formula Drift competitions in the United States.
Finally, Nissan Z GT4 Race car debut at SEMA 2022: This race car will hit the tracks in 2023 and continue the prestigious legacy of the Nissan Z in motorsport.
