The tension in the supply of fuel in no way justifies the jump in prices at some gas stations. We do not allow artificially inflated prices. I urged DGCCRF to act. Inspections take place in @hautsdefrance https://t.co/RXJWH912tA

The days pass and are similar to each other. If the strike has been going on for more than ten days, then the consequences have become truly felt only since last week. And unfortunately, it’s still going on as the movement continues at TotalEnergies and ExxonMobil’s refineries and warehouses. And the situation was not to improve immediately, until the strike was resumed for this Wednesday. In the meantime, motorists must find a solution gas station almost all are dry. The few refills are quickly snapped up by harried drivers, who sometimes wait for hours hoping to fill their tanks.
#fuel shortage React in case of fuel shortage:
turn on the hazard warning lights
put on your yellow vest
place a warning triangle approximately 30 meters in front of the vehicle

Application of strikers
The situation is obviously very tense, although many fights have already broken out in the four corners of France. The father recently even received several stab wounds while overtaking another motorist. If by that time the authorities did not react in any way, then the latter decided to take matters into their own hands. Prime Minister Elizabeth Bourne actually announced on Tuesday requisition of strikers. As stated in the Civil Code, when required by an observed or suspected breach of good order, health, peace and public safety, […] the prefect can, by reasoned decree, requisition any property or service, invite any person necessary for the operation of this service or the use of this property“.
Still not back to normal
But if this measure will reduce the tension, it does not mean a return to normal life. Indeed, this does not apply to all workers, and it is impossible to force them all to return to work. However, those who refuse will be prosecuted 10,000 euro fine as well as six months of imprisonment. For their part, the trade unions have already declared their desire to cancel this procedure if it is applied by the government.
In this time of fuel crisis, it can be tempting to stock up on canisters. But be careful, such use is strictly regulated… or even prohibited. https://t.co/C4Y98C80pi
