We know,French administration has some subtleties, but also many inconsistencies and secrets, and is often limited. And sometimes it is difficult to cope with it, even in situations that at first glance are not very difficult. And very often it happens that completely grotesque situations occur, when everything could have happened simply. This is exactly what happened to a 70-year-old woman who experienced some difficulties without which she probably would have done very well. Indeed, our colleagues at RMC tell us a completely surreal story, which, however, could happen to anyone. It took place in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, in the Paris region, and has just come to fruition after a few months.
The democratization of electric cars in recent years offers driving schools the opportunity to offer a new service: rights to an automatic transmission for an electric car. But is this offer the best fit for would-be drivers? https://t.co/HsAqpkAtHH

No driver’s license
In March last year, 70-year-old Anne-Marie lost her wallet and had to reissue all her documents, including her driver’s license, which she had held for more than 44 years. But the administration replies that it cannot help him because there is no pink paper. According to this, in theory, a pensioner would not be allowed to drive a car. A surprising situation that prompts the latter to turn to RMC for help. She explains that the administration told her ” Ma’am, you don’t have a license, you’re not on our files.” She then replies that “it is dated February 1, 1978 and was taken in Saint-Germain-en-Laye. I can even name the driving school where I attended, even if it no longer exists“. Then the channel will contact the sub-prefecture Saint-Germain-en-Laye, who was to issue the precious document.
.
A simple mistake
After several months of research and excavations in the village paper archive building, the sub-prefecture was finally able to prove that Anne-Marie did indeed have her driver’s license. In fact, this is a simple error because the document was never scanned and therefore did not appear in the files. Thus, the precious sesame is now processed and the story is settled.
Reflections on the project to no longer deduct points from the driver’s license of drivers guilty of minor speeding continue! https://t.co/w2bQX7OYx4
