
Built in 1914 just before the First World War, this motor home is based on the chassis Ford Model T stretchedand is managed by the English company Dunton of Reading.
The model was purchased in 1914 year a member of the wealthy Bentall family, which founded the British department stores of the same name. It was then resold in the 1920s and probably abandoned until it was found in the 1970s.

Ford Model T motor home (1914): vintage interior
In the driver’s seat a quilted leather bench doubles as a driver and passenger seat, but can be folded down to serve as a sofa for lounging. A process still found in modern motorhomes, with seats in the cabin that swivel 180°.
There are four bunk beds in the rear, as well as wardrobes, a bench seat and a folding table for the seating area. The wood-burning stove, located in the center of the vehicle, provides heating and even cooking thanks to two built-in plates.
