Fuel, tolls, additional costs, trips to departure are overpriced.

Every summer, large-scale works to renew roads and improve the safety of the road network are resumed. The period was obviously not chosen by chance, but rather privileged for a reduced circulation. Since the tracks are less busy during the holidays, this makes it much easier for the agents who do this often very large job. Especially if you plan to take your ownA1 freeway for the next few days, you will have to find another route to get to work or to Roissy-Charles de Gaulle Airport. Indeed, tonight, from 10 p.m. until August 11, the expressway will be closed. But it won’t be the only place affected by the closure during this period.
👉 Until 2024, toll barriers along the A13, a #highway known for its traffic jams, will be removed.
But this fast lane won’t be free. 🛣 https://t.co/Ta51VaGjzR pic.twitter.com/IucQnLc7Jw

Large-scale works
Really,President Wilson Ave, located in Saint-Denis (93), will also be closed for a few days. We are talking about large-scale works that will take place in preparation for the Olympic Games, which will be held in 2024 in Paris. A large pedestrian bridge will indeed be installed over the track, as explained by our Parisian colleagues. This operation should be especially spectacular according to Philippe Rosier, deputy director of Solideo, the Olympic delivery company commissioned for the project. Then it will consist of a rotation, then movement of the pedestrian bridge to its final connection“. This pedestrian bridge weighs at least 950 tons and is 70 meters long. It will cover all eight lanes of the highway in one piece.
A few diversions
If studies were carried out to determine precisely the period of the smallest penalty for motorists, this work would still cause some disruption to traffic. And it is not for nothing that the A1 motorway is one of the busiest expressways in Europe. Therefore, detours will be created for users in the direction of the A86 and A3 motorways. In any case, it is best to avoid the sector as much as possible until August 11 at 4 a.m., the date of the reopening of the tracks.
⚠️#Highway #Traffic rules ! 🛣️
Drivers must drive in the + right lane!
