According to ACAROM’s press release, in March 2024, new car registrations in Romania decreased by 25% compared to March 2023 and reached 9,156 units. In the first three months of 2024, the number of registered new cars reached 33,228 units, which is 10% less than in the same period of 2023, i.e. 36,966 units.
As for used cars registered for the first time in Romania, their volume reached 27,499 units in March 2024, which is 2% less compared to March 2023.
In the first three months of 2024, registrations of used cars reached 84,135 units, an increase of 10% compared to the same period in 2023, respectively, by 76,577 units.
