“We are writing to you because we are increasingly frustrated and concerned about the lack of continued communication and commitment from the Israeli Prime Minister and the military cabinet to the release of the hostages,” the families of the hostages said in the letter. .

For the first time, a large group of hostages’ relatives sends a letter to Biden.

“We encourage you to use the means at your disposal to pressure and persuade all parties, including the Prime Minister of Israel, to accept an agreement that you believe is reasonable,” the letter added.

“We stand ready to work closely with your administration to mobilize the Israeli people and explain to the American people and their elected officials the need to support the current agreement. We believe that the families of the hostages can play an important role in garnering public support to make this deal possible.”
