“On 03/22/2024, the prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bucharest District Court 5 decided to initiate criminal proceedings against the 25-year-old accused for committing two crimes related to insult (…) in a state of post-conviction for recidivism,” the prosecutor’s office announced on Friday at the Court of District 5 of Bucharest, News.ro reports.

The prosecutor’s office clarifies that the police intervened on Thursday evening to resolve the conflict that occurred in a building on Michael Sebastian Street in Bucharest.

“On the spot, the person who caused the scandal was identified, namely the defendant B.I.F., who hit the police officer in the right shoulder area. After arriving at the police station, during the control, the suspect kicked another policewoman, a woman, in the area of ​​the right wrist and left knee,” the prosecutor’s office said.

The prosecutors specified that the defendant was also sentenced to imprisonment with a suspended sentence under supervision also for the offense of insult.

“In the case, the prosecutor chose a preventive measure in the form of detention for a period of 24 hours, after which the defendant will be presented to the judge of rights and freedoms of Bucharest District Court 5 with an application for preventive arrest,” the source is quoted as saying. added
