
The Islamic State (ISIS) jihadist group has claimed responsibility for an attack on Friday night at a concert hall on the outskirts of Moscow that left at least 40 people dead, according to Russian authorities.
“Islamic State” fighters “attacked a large gathering (…) on the outskirts of the Russian capital, Moscow,” the terrorist organization claims in one of its Telegram accounts, AFP reports.
At least 40 people were killed and 100 were injured as a result of an armed attack that took place today at the Crocus City Hall concert hall near Moscow, according to the Russian state news agency TASS.
The RIA news agency reported that at least three people in camouflage opened fire at the Crocus City Hall concert hall and that some people were wounded, Reuters quoted.
