>> The blue card will appear in football – What does it mean?

“Blue card” is incompetence, says breeder Edi Iordenescu

A card was issued for protests or fouls, and the player who was sanctioned had to sit on the sideline for ten minutes.

“Blue card = nonsense!! Some are bored in offices!! At this rate, he’ll soon be sitting with the user manual on the bench to meet the rules live!!” – Edi Jordanescu on Facebook.

However, FIFA responded by saying that the press reports were “incorrect and premature”.

“FIFA would like to clarify the fact that the reports of the so-called “blue card” at the level of the football elite are incorrect and premature.

Any such testing, if implemented, should be limited to responsible testing at lower levels, and FIFA intends to reiterate this position when this agenda item is discussed at the IFAB general meeting on March 2,” FIFA announced, according to News.ro.

This will be the first time a new disciplinary card has been introduced since the use of yellow and red cards at the 1970 World Cup.
