This means that “the Americans are causing even more pain to the Ukrainians, that the Americans are causing the death of even more Ukrainians,” Kremlin spokesman Dmytro Peskov told Russian state television correspondent Pavel Zarubin, who published the statements on Telegram on Saturday.
The United States is directly involved in the conflict and is becoming more involved, Peskov also said, adding that he was confident it would “not change the outcome of the war.”
The Kremlin has consistently blamed the heavy losses in the war on the West helping Kiev defend itself against Russian attacks.
