Employees of institutions subordinate to the Ministry of Labor, members of trade unions, as well as persons not connected to trade union organizations, will go on a general strike from Monday, November 27, the Federation of Trade Unions of the Ministry of Labor (FSMM) reports. .
The federation demands optimal working conditions and fair wages, arguing that it is due to the “decline in purchasing power and the impact of inflation”.
- “Members of the trade unions recognized the strike as a necessary step to draw attention to the significant problems faced by the employees of the Ministry of Labor institutions.
- Continued growth in pay inequality, poor working conditions and staff shortages have forced workers to take action to achieve concrete and sustainable change. The decrease in purchasing power and the impact of inflation, in turn, increased the state of dissatisfaction and imposed the need for this measure.
- The Ministry of Labor Federation of Trade Unions is a trade union organization dedicated to protecting the rights of workers in the Ministry of Labor sector and promoting fair and safe working conditions. The Federation of Trade Unions in the Ministry of Labor remains open to dialogue to find solutions that will lead to an improvement in the quality of professional life for all its members,” the FSMM wrote on Facebook.
Earlier, FSMM wrote that according to the results of the government meeting on Friday, there was no decision regarding the workers’ claims.
- “There was a dialogue in which our requests were taken into account, so far we have not had any changes. The strike, which will take place tomorrow in the institutions of the Ministry of Labor and Social Solidarity, is nothing more than a manifestation of the deep dissatisfaction that exists among us,” FSMM writes.
This week there were warning strikes, workers are unhappy that no government has “treated the Ministry of Labor and Social Solidarity according to the importance it has”, although it has direct interaction with the public.
