Max Verstappen, 19 victories in the Formula 1 season – Ferrari, a place in the constructors’ standings

Verstappen won the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix to make it 19 wins for the season, bettering last year’s record of 15. Michael Schumacher (in 2004) and Sebastian Vettel (in 2013) collected “only” 13 successes each in the Formula 1 season.

The Dutchman was followed on Sunday by Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) and George Russell (Mercedes).

Leclerc allowed Sergio Perez (Red Bull) to overtake him, knowing that he would receive a 5 second penalty. Thus, the Mexican finished the race in 4th place.
