With over 3 million copies sold since the launch of the very first generation in 1980 Renault Master it is a large, irreplaceable vehicle on our roads. On the occasion of the 17th edition Solutransexhibition for transport professionals, opening its doors from 21 to 25 November 2023 at Eurexpo Lyon, Renault opens the curtain on fourth generation his master’s degree.

Renault Master IV: confident design

This new generation Renault Master offers a more modern and assertive design with thoughtful lines optimize aerodynamics, and reduce its Scx by more than 20%. The massive front end features the new Renault logo, as well as fully LED headlights with a C-shaped light signature. Inside, the new Master is inspired by the brand’s latest developments, with a driver-focused dashboard featuring 10-inch touch screen, equipped with an OpenR Link connected multimedia system, compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wired and wireless. The volume of the luggage compartment is 135 liters with the possibility of placing in several places, and the driver’s seat can be converted into mobile officethanks to the folding central seat back.

There are four versions under the hood Blue dCi diesel engine with 105, 130, 150 and 170 horsepower.all linked to a manual transmission or the new 9-speed EAG9 automatic transmission. Two 100% electric E-Tech motors 96 kW (131 hp) or 105 kW (143 hp) and 300 Nm torque versions are also offered, offering respectively batteries with a capacity of 40 kWh (180 km of WLTP autonomy) and 87 kWh (over 410 km of reserve WLTP course). ). AND The H2-Tech version is equipped with a hydrogen fuel cell also expected in 2025.

Made in France

In terms of technology, the new Renault Master has no less than 20 driver assistance systems : we find, in particular, lateral stabilization assistant, automatic emergency braking AEBS, trailer driving assistant or intelligent speed assistant that helps the driver to comply with speed limits.

Electric Renault Masters also offer V2X functions: Vehicle-To-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-To-Grid (V2G), to use the vehicle’s battery to power external devices, using a socket in the vehicle interior, in the luggage compartment or with an adapter to connect to charging sockets. The bi-directional charger also allows for integration into the local power grid and delivers power.

As in previous generations, Renault Master IV will be produced in Franceat the Renault-Sovab plant (Society of motor vehicles Batilli) from Batilla, located near Metz in Mert and Moselle (54).
