Sandro Tonali recently left Italy’s national team training camp alongside Niccolo Zaniolo after prosecutors swooped in and held talks with Coverciano in the context of a massive betting scandal in Italian football.
Tonali recently confirmed his gambling addiction but said he never bet on football matches, especially Milan matches.
Having paid 70 million euros for the transfer of Tonali this summer, the club “Newcastle” reacted to the scandal with the Italian.
