After four long years of absence due to the Covid-19 pandemic and geopolitical and economic uncertainty, the Geneva Motor Show is finally back.
Organizers have officially announced that the show’s doors will reopen in Geneva, Switzerland from February 26 to March 3, 2024. The announcement was made from Qatar, where the show was moved this year.
This new edition will not be like the previous ones, as it will introduce several significant changes to reduce costsboth for organizers and exhibitors.
Innovative “Plug & Play” format.
In 2024, the Geneva Motor Show will adopt the “Plug & Play” format. This concept will offer builders smaller and less complex stands, thereby reducing costs while preserving the very essence of the event. Manufacturers will have the opportunity to personalize the color of their stand and add their logo, thus adding a distinctive touch to their presentation.
This more modest approach aims to facilitate the participation of various manufacturers, including smaller market players, while reinforcing the innovative nature of the exhibition. Manufacturers should also be able to reduce exhibition costs allocate more resources to present their latest innovations and technological achievements.
A lounge divided into thematic areas
To enhance the visitor experience, the 2024 Geneva Motor Show will be divided into several themed zones. Each of these zones will highlight specific aspects of the automotive industry, providing visitors with a more focused and engaging experience.
- The “Innovation Pavilion” will be a place where manufacturers and equipment suppliers will present their latest technological achievements, from autonomous vehicles to innovations in security and connectivity.
- Design District will highlight the art of automotive design. Visitors will be able to admire the elegant lines and innovative concepts that shape the aesthetics of cars of the future.
