“The visit of the Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte and his team. Our negotiations. There is a missile solution – the Netherlands is providing additional missiles. Today I spoke with Mark about other joint measures to protect Ukraine. Special attention to the defense of the city of Odessa, our entire south – from the ports on the Danube to the ports in Odesa.

We discussed the protection of our export corridors in the Black Sea. The world recognizes the global role of Ukraine as a guarantor of food security. He strongly supports the need to maintain and strengthen our prominence on this issue. The social stability of many countries directly depends on Ukraine’s power,” Zelenskyi said.

Volodymyr Zelenskyi noted that the main task is to prepare for winter and protect the energy sector, as well as reconstruction.

“Today I was in Odesa port. We received briefings from the military and government officials about our unity with the world market and the protection of Ukrainian waters in the Black Sea. I had a meeting about the situation in Odesa region with the leadership of law enforcement agencies, the regional government and the military leadership. The main task is, of course, preparation for winter, protection of the energy sector and restoration of the destroyed by Russian attacks.

I am grateful to all who work to keep our people safe. The work of everyone in the government system and our diplomats is currently aimed at surviving the winter and resolutely repelling Russian attacks on the city of Odessa, the Odesa region, the cities of the region and the whole of Ukraine. Our state will be offered more protection.”

“Today I had the honor to visit our soldiers who are recovering from injuries,” Zelenskyy said. “With Mark, I spent time with them and talked to them. I awarded state awards to the military and the doctors who help them. I met with the cadets of the Military Academy in Odesa. Great discussion. Thanks, guys, for your attention and questions. Boys and girls, you are doing very well.”

The President of Ukraine also noted that in Odesa he addressed the participants of the meeting of the United Expeditionary Forces – the format of regional cooperation in the north of Europe. United Kingdom, Sweden, Denmark, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands and Norway.

“The meeting took place on the Swedish island of Gotland, which is a significant signal, a very symbolic place for the leaders to discuss the security of Europe and the long-term reliable defense of our countries and peoples. Looking at the map, one can immediately understand why the propagandists of the Russian state demanded the capture of this island. Gotland represents control over the entire region, and Russia is also trying to destabilize the region.

When I spoke in the Swedish Parliament in 2022, at the beginning of a full-scale war, I spoke precisely about how important it is to be strong for everyone in Europe, in all parts of the continent, in every strategic point like Gotland, which defines common security.

By the way, I am grateful for today’s joint statement of the leaders of the United Expeditionary Forces. That’s a strong statement. Support for Ukraine, especially on the way to NATO and clear condemnation of Russian aggression. And readiness to help us as necessary to win the war.”

Zelensky also announced the signing of a protocol with the Republic of Moldova:

“Today we signed a protocol with the Republic of Moldova regarding joint border control at the Kuchurgan-Novosavitska railway crossing point. This is another direction of our exports, an additional transport corridor, which will undoubtedly strengthen our entire region. Thank you, Moldova!”

“I also want to thank today our fighters – those who protect our airspace. Especially in the southern part of the country. Our artillery groups. 13th separate anti-aircraft machine gun battalion, 5th National Guard brigade and 14th radio engineering brigade. Thank you, fighters! Glory to all fighters for Ukraine! Thanks to everyone who helps us! Thank you, Mark, for the visit and today’s negotiations, for your support! And thank you, Odesa! We will definitely rebuild everything that Russia destroyed,” he added. (News.ro)
