
More than 35 thousand believers stand in line to get to the reliquary with the relics of Saint Paraskeva from the Metropolitan Cathedral in Iasi. The queue stretched to a distance of four kilometers, and the waiting time is 12 hours, writes News.ro.
From Saturday, October 7, until Friday evening, about 200,000 pilgrims managed to pass by the reliquary with the relics of St. Paraskeva.
On Friday evening, the number of people standing in the queue reached more than 35,000, while during the day there were about 10,000 people in the queue.
Also, the relics of St. Andrew of Crete from the Metropolitan Cathedral of Arkalochori (Crete, Greece) were brought to Iasi.
The Holy Liturgy will be held on Saturday, the service will be held on the stage located on the pedestrian street Ştefan cel Mare, in front of the cathedral in Iasi, News.ro also writes.
