
Starting Monday, August 14, at 9 a.m., Kalja Florjaska and Radu Beller will become one-way streets, Mayor Nikushor Dan announced on his Facebook page. The city hall modernized two arteries, and by canceling one direction of traffic, there was a place for one-lane traffic of public transport and bicycle paths.
- “Calea Floreasca becomes the only direction of traffic in the direction of Ștefan cel Mare road to the intersection of Calea Floreasca with Tchaikovsky Street. STB buses will run in a special lane for public transport from St. Tchaikovsky towards Stefan cel Mare. There will be a bicycle path in the same direction.
- Radu Bellera Street becomes a one-way street from Mircea Eliade Boulevard to Dorobanti Square. STB buses will run on a dedicated lane from Piața Dorobanti to Bd. Mircea Eliade. Bicycles will travel in the same direction, on a specially created path,” said Mayor Nikushor Dan on his Facebook page.
The work on milling and laying paving stones was performed by Straco Holding and started on 23.06.2023. The cost of the works was 3,748,995 lei.
Road markings, carpeting on the bike path, red carpets, road signs and parking spaces were done by SC ANDUNA SERVIMOB SRL. They started on 07/23/2023 and will end this weekend. The cost of the works is approximately 800,000 lei.
