• – The ministry I lead has NO AUTHORITY to accredit and/or control nursing homes and/or centers for people with disabilities. The field of activity of the researched centers – care for adults with disabilities – does not fall under the competence of the ministry.
• – I got interested, but the city hall, which is managed by my husband, DOES NOT HAVE AUTHORITIES to check these centers and WAS NOT INFORMED about the situation of these people. A paper sent to the Town Planning Office is being circulated, but it does not refer to any person being neglected or abused, but to the lack of consent of the neighbors for such activity, which is required in the case of apartments in residential buildings, according to the law.
• – WE DID NOT PRESSURE to eliminate public organizations from monitoring these centers. WE DID NOT PRESSURE to appoint people to positions in the social sphere, with powers in the sphere of adults.
• – My family has NO hidden assets. All I have collected are the details of the private and public positions I have held. Not from illegality!
• I believe in Justice! I believe that the investigators have identified the culprits! I believe that the Government has taken the best decisions so that such disgraceful actions do not happen again, and I will support these efforts where the authority of the institution that I lead lies.
