
Her inclusion of an additional 44,660 households in the “Recycle – Switch Device” program, which are taken from the existing shortlist announced today Ministry of Environment and Energy.
With today’s inclusion of new households, a total of 585,650 beneficiaries have been able to replace their old energy-intensive electrical appliances (air conditioners, refrigerators or freezers) with new, more energy-efficient ones, which is 67% of those who applied for the program.
New beneficiaries will be informed of their inclusion by sending a private message to their mobile phones.
Recall that all households, regardless of income, were eligible to participate in the program, while social criteria were applied in the program with special attention to vulnerable households, families with disabilities and families with many children.
