
Digi/RCS&RDS recorded revenues of more than €244.8 million in Romania in the first quarter of this year, which is 3.7% more than in the same period last year. The company reported an increase in the number of subscribers in all service categories, with the only decrease observed in fixed telephony.

The operator reached over 5.1 million cable and DTH subscribers, an increase of approximately 6.2% over Q1 2022.
In the fixed Internet segment, it reached approximately 4.3 million contracts, which is approximately 11.2% more than in the same period last year.
As of March 31, 2023, RCS&RDS has reached over 5.1 million users in the mobile telecom segment, representing an increase of approximately 19.1% over the same period last year.
The only decrease is observed in the segment of fixed communications, where the operator reached approximately 922,000 users on March 31, 2023, which is 4.9% less compared to the same period last year, as a result of the general trend of transition from fixed communications to mobile services yakuza
The divisions in Spain showed another outstanding result with a 68% increase in the number of users of fixed communications services (fixed Internet and fixed telephony) compared to the same period of the previous year to 1.3 million RGUs. The number of mobile users increased significantly by 26% and reached 4.0 million RGUs.
The Group’s subsidiaries in Portugal and Belgium (in cooperation with Citymesh NV) are in the process of developing the infrastructure to launch communication services in the future.
