Dimitris Manzos responded sharply to the government spokesman, emphasizing that “Mitsotaki’s system of power, trapped in existential anxiety for its leader, is systematically attacking the only bastion in front of them: PASOK – Movement for Change“.
Mr. Manzos added that “Mr. Mitsotakis has argued for four years that he rules with his company, not his party, by insisting on deeply conservative and dead-end policies.“.
A spokesman for the PASOK Movement claimed that during the government’s days:
- the public character of the NHS has been deconstructed,
- real wages fell by 7.4%,
- in 2022 alone, citizens paid 4.5 billion euros more indirect taxes,
- housing prices increased by 33% in one year,
- the touted development of the New Democracy matches the 400 and 500 euro jobs, and the black workforce is breaking records.
“Fiscal populists, champions of corruption and discrediting the rule of law, do not want partnerships because they are afraid of control.
Now it is clear that they will find out who their real opponent is,” concluded Dimitris Manzos.
