A few years ago, there were only two electric models in the Volkswagen range: e-Up and e-Golf. But since then, everything has changed a lot, as the manufacturer plans to stop selling thermal machines soon. To tell the truth, he still has no choice, since from 2035 the European Union will ban the sale of models with an internal combustion engine. That is why the German firm is significantly expanding the range of zero-emission cars that are currently busy for the moment.

New version
Indeed, customers have a choice ID.3, ID.4, ID.5 and other identifiers. Buzz. But that’s not all, because a few weeks ago the manufacturer also unveiled the new ID.7, a large electric sedan. Then it is intended to replace the thermal Passat, which will be phased out. But the Wolfsburg company has no intention of stopping there. Indeed, it also plans to launch a sportier version that will carry GTX emblem. It was also detected on ID.4 and ID.5 for several months. This new option should be presented in the summer.
More than 300 horsepower
Or rather to Munich Fair, which will take place from September 5 to 10. At the moment, we do not know all the technical features of this version, but we already know that it will be equipped with four-wheel drive. On the other hand, it is not confirmed if it will replace the ID.4 and ID.5 GTX engine. But in any case, a sports sedan should develop about 300 horsepower. We’ll have to wait until we know a little more about it, though.
