One of the victims of the freeway shooting, a 25-year-old woman, is in critical condition, police said. Two other victims, a 51-year-old man and his 29-year-old son, suffered non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said.
Joseph Eaton was taken into custody and “confessed to killing his parents and their friends at Bowdoin,” state police said. Eaton reportedly “believed the cars he was shooting at were police cars following him.”
