The principle of environmental bonus has existed for several years. This measure, aimed at encouraging motorists to switch to electricity, takes the form of a small financial incentive, the amount of which is far from insignificant. But you can imagine that this is very expensive for the state. And while sales of trendy models are accelerating, the latter have started to tighten the nuts a little. Therefore, this assistance no longer applies to plug-in hybrid vehicles. THE vehicles over 47,000 euros from January 1, they also no longer have the right to do so. Not to mention the amount.
The eastern district of Saint-Rambert on the street@A7Traffic from July 18 will offer 2 electric charging stations for refrigerators. It is an economical, ecological and quiet alternative to noisy and polluting diesel generators. https://t.co/YF2YFVSF5Q

A new twist
Indeed, the maximum amount is now €5,000, except in some cases for the most modest households who can claim assistance in the amount of 7,000 euros. But the government can go even further. The idea of leaving an environmental bonus for cars produced in Europe has been in the works for several months. And today she is talking about her again. Indeed, the PFA (Platforme de la Filière Automobile) returns to this idea. And she is more than that. Mark Morture, its managing director, spoke on this topic reports the British news agency Reuters. And he finds this idea quite attractive.
Inspired by the USA
He explains that ” the possibility of a bonus reserved for vehicles produced in European territory, like the IRA (Inflation Reduction Act) in the United States, is one line of thought“. He further explains that ” The aim is to give European industry time to consolidate”. Other ways of thinking are also considered, e.g reduction of imports, but it is not currently on the agenda. The European Union is considering several ways to preserve its sovereignty in this area.
