
OUR Denmark And Netherlands will jointly donate 14 Leopard 2 tanks Ukrainetwo countries announced today.
The Leopard 2A4 tanks, which will be purchased from a third party and refurbished, are expected to be delivered in the first quarter of 2024, the two countries said in a joint statement.
“For the hope of a peaceful and secure Europe, it is absolutely essential that we do not allow the Ukrainians to fight alone,” said Acting Danish Defense Minister Truls Lund Poulsen.
In February, Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands also announced that they would jointly refurbish at least 100 old Leopard 1 tanks from their industrial stocks and deliver them to Ukraine this year and next.
