ANAF will start more inspections this year. First of all, the Tax Office is targeting sectors of the economy that have had growth, but taxes paid have not risen to the level of economic growth, says Lucian Geiusz, head of ANAF.

According to Heyush, what other control measures will the fiscal service carry out:

• VAT evasion, where VAT evasion occurs

• Transactions with affiliated companies – file of transfer prices.

• e-Transport became operational on January 1. From the middle of March, there will be serious checks on how to get a transport code.

• Ballast supplies will be checked.

• Procurement of fruits and vegetables within the community

• Antifraud actions follow what has been sent by courier companies (ie people who have paid/received cash). Anti-fraud will check several dozen people (we are talking about those who earned from sales on various sites – no).

According to him, ANAF representatives will meet with the IMF on Wednesday.
