Rezvan Burleanu wants the Romanian in the ideal team for the FIFA The Best awards ceremony

Burleanu, present at the gala as a member of the FIFA Council, said that he hopes the Romanian footballer will make the ideal team at the FIFA The Best award ceremony in the next 5-10 years.

“Being there was a source of additional motivation for me. And this means what we are doing at the Romanian Football Federation, making even more efforts, especially when it comes to the implementation of the technical strategy. That in 5-10 years we would like to have at least one Romanian player on such a stage, at such a ceremony.

High goals are those that help you in life for a long time. Without the high goals, which foresee today that the entire football ecosystem in Romania contributes to the formation of Romanian players adapted to European football, we simply would not be able to talk about high results.

Going back to that, the goal we have as a federation, together with the clubs, is to train players adapted to European football. When we manage to produce such a profile of players, then, of course, the results of the club teams in the European Cups will be better, and the national teams will also perform automatically.

And the more we increase the number of players to play in Europe at the highest level, then we will move towards this goal, which should not be achievable, to have a Romanian player in the best eleven in the world” – Rezvan Burleanuat a press conference quoted by Agerpres.
