Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry criticized Croatian President Zoran Milanovic on Tuesday for saying Crimea would never return to Ukrainian control, calling his comment “unacceptable,” Reuters reported.

“We consider the statements of the president of Croatia, who in fact questioned the territorial integrity of Ukraine, to be unacceptable,” Oleh Nikolenko, the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, wrote on Facebook.

Russia annexed the Black Sea Peninsula from Ukraine in 2014. In comments on Monday detailing his objections to Zagreb providing military aid to Kyiv, Milanovych said it was “obvious that Crimea will never be part of Ukraine.”

Sending Western tanks to Ukraine will continue the country’s war with Russia, and if Washington and Moscow do not come to an agreement, the third world war will begin, said Croatian President Zoran Milanovic, who also ridiculed the statement of German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock about the “war against Russia” of the Western allies.
