The situation with unlicensed coaches in the Super League has become a real problem that is being commented on more and more often. The last to react on this topic was Dan Petrescu, the coach of CFR Cluj.

Dan Petrescu, sharply addressing those who sit on the bench and do not have a license – “I don’t think there is such a thing in the world to train without a license”

On January 23, Mihai Pintilius (FCSB) will be judged by the Disciplinary Commission of the Romanian Football Federation on the referral of the Federal Coaching School.

The head coach is Mihai Pintilius, although he does not have the necessary documents to occupy this position.

When asked about this at Saturday’s press conference, Dan Petrescu (CFR Cluj coach) reacted sharply.

“All coaches around the world have a coaching school. I think it’s fair to have a license if you want to practice. I don’t think there is such a thing in the world to train without a license.

Where I was, everyone had rights. If you don’t have a license, how do you want to practice? Now how to get a license is no longer my problem. In my opinion, you should have a license.

This can only happen in Romania. Tell me another country where this still happens, unlicensed sit on the bench. If you have a license, stay. If you don’t have one, don’t stay. All kinds of schemes are being built, it seems incredible to me.

There are so many licensed trainers who don’t train and stay home, and those who don’t train. This is not fair and normal. Let’s go back to normal life, let only those who have a license train.” Dan Petrescu said.

According to Digi Sport, Mihai Pintili is facing a suspension from stages 4 to 6 for directing FCSB training sessions and attending interviews before and after games.

Pintilia’s case is not unique in the Super League, Marius Kroitoru is another coach who does not have a PRO license.
