After several negotiations, Atletico Madrid and Wolverhampton Wanderers have finally reached an agreement for the transfer of Brazilian striker Mateusz Cunha.

The 23-year-old will be on loan until the end of this season, but the contract also has a permanent buy-out clause of £35m.

Mateus Cunha was transferred to the Wanda Metropolitano in the summer of 2021, but has failed to impress under Diego Simeone. In 54 matches for Atletico Madrid, Cunha scored 7 goals and provided 8 assists.

According to Transfermarkt, Mateusz Cunha also played for FC Sion, RB Leipzig and Hertha Berlin. First, he is a junior from Coritiba.
