An earthquake measuring 3.7 on the Richter scale occurred today at noon in the sea area between Zakynthos and Kyllini.

The epicenter of the earthquake was located 14 kilometers from Killini and had a focal depth of 16 kilometers.

The earthquake caused serious material damage to the masonry of the farmstead of St. Dionysius in the Panagula area in the city of Zakynthos.

According to the first information, the outer wall on the side of the road is seriously damaged, as most of it collapsed.

For this reason, the Zakynthos Civil Protection Service blocked the site, fearing new seismic vibrations that could injure passers-by.
