President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that his country “will move very carefully, without emotions, without unnecessary risks”, in the context of which Russia announced the withdrawal of its troops from part of the Kherson region, reports CNN.

In his daily video address, Zelenskyi noted: “We are gradually moving south, consolidating our positions. Step by step”.

“There is a lot of joy in the information space today – and it is clear why,” said the Ukrainian president.

“But our emotions must be restrained – always during war. I certainly will not share all the details of our operations with the enemy. Whether it’s in the South, or the East, or anywhere else—when we get the result, everybody’s going to look. This is how we will ensure the liberation of Kherson, Kakhovka, Donetsk and our other cities,” Zelenskyi said.

“Nobody just goes like that if they don’t feel strong. The enemy doesn’t give us gifts, doesn’t make ‘goodwill gestures’. We fight for it,” he said.
