Panathinaikos suffered their first defeat in the league, but thanks to a well-timed penalty in stoppage time, they remained undefeated (1:1) in the big derby with Olympiakos in the eleventh round of the Super League.

Clover had 10 hits in a row, the best start in his league history.

However, the champions played smart, with Biel taking the lead in the 84th minute, but with Sporar’s well-timed stoppage-time penalty, Panathinaikos kept the league unbeaten. Panathinaikos remains in first place with 31 points, while Mitchell’s team has 21 points while maintaining a ten-point distance between the two teams.

Piraeus dangerously entered the opponent’s zone with Masura in shooting position, but the international player fouled Magnusson. In the 4th minute, the hosts had their first good chance, but Papastatopoulos blocked Verbic’s shot.

Olympiacos threatens again at 12 minute, thin. Ávila rushed down the right flank, flipped the ball and Biel shot, but Sanchez was there. Panathinaikos had possession and Olympiacos found a lot of space, especially from counterattacks.

When the match was delayed, referee Kellet awarded a penalty for tagging Ioannides by Avila. Sporar defeated Paschalakis by giving a point to Panathinaikos.
