The Russian government has said it plans to complete repairs to the Crimean Bridge by July 1, 2023, according to a resolution published on the government’s website, CNN reports.
The road and railway bridge were badly damaged by an explosion late last week. Russia blamed the Ukrainian special services for the attack, which was allegedly carried out using a bomb hidden in a truck.
In the decree signed by Prime Minister Mykhailo Misusin, the company “Nizhneangarsktransstroy” is designated as the sole contractor for the restoration and reconstruction of the bridge in Crimea.
The order states that “the deadline for concluding state contracts for the performance of the specified works is July 1, 2023.”
