Law firm Bingham’s said fans had reported “scary scenes” at the Stade de France.

Bingham’s will sue UEFA along with Pugust Goodhead on behalf of 1,450 customers who accuse the continental forum of negligence.

The lawyers said they would sue UEFA for breach of contract in relation to the sale of tickets and for negligence in the care of fans, resulting in physical and emotional suffering for fans.

Many fans said they stood in lines for hours before the game and that law enforcement responded harshly. The start of Liverpool’s match against Real Madrid on May 28 at the Stade de France was delayed by 35 minutes due to “security reasons”, according to the organizers.

Another law firm, Leigh Day, is also suing UEFA, claiming the forum failed to provide a safe environment for fans at the LC final. Leigh Day represents the interests of 400 clients, writes News.ro.

This year’s Champions League was won by Real Madrid, who defeated Liverpool 1:0 in the final at the Stade de France.
