Former Culture Minister Daniel Breeze announced that he had joined the PNL after leaving the PSD in August 2020, citing “chaotic leadership”, to join Victor Ponta’s Pro Romania party in October 2020.
- “I decided to return to the political arena. And this is because I want to put all the experience and political maturity acquired during my career at the service of the community of Albayuli.
- Every decision must be based on evidence-based public policy. I found in the PNL team like-minded political people who are ready to put the community and its welfare on the agenda. I believe that with the National Liberal Party I will have a chance to build,” Daniel Breese wrote on his Facebook page.
Daniel Breeze said in August 2020 that the PSD has become a party “weak, incoherent, without a hint of logic in decisions, with a chaotic leadership”: “It no longer thinks in the medium and long term, but only from today to tomorrow and in the paradigm of personal survival”.
In October 2020, the president of the Pro Romania Alba branch, Horaciu Florea, announced that Daniel Breeze had joined the party.
In August 2019, Daniel Brez served as interim Minister of Education after President Klaus Iohannis signed a decree dismissing Ekaterina Andronescu from the ministry.
In the mandate of the minister of culture in the government led by Viorica Dencile, Daniel Breeze stood out for grammatical errors, demonstrating how it is not possible to speak the language of Shakespeare in Brussels, or statements according to which a mother and two children do not represent a family: “It was a family me, but something happened and it’s gone.”
