Dominic Raab announced on Twitter on Tuesday that he will not be part of the cabinet of new British Prime Minister Liz Truss, leaving the posts of Justice Secretary and Deputy Prime Minister.

It is unclear from his tweet whether Dominique Raab resigned or was fired. But in practice, this distinction is often meaningless, because as soon as ministers realize that they will not be retained, they resign anyway, News.ro notes.

Raab angered the Truss camp by saying on the campaign trail that her economic policies would be an “electoral suicide note” for the party.

Grant Shepps will also no longer be Transport Secretary, having supported Rishi Sunak during the campaign.

And Steve Barkley, the health minister, left, he was also a supporter of Rishi Sunak.

Three will return to the positions of parliamentarians.
