
Englishman Steve Bennett has officially become the new Chief Justice. The EPO approved the recruitment, notifying that the fees of the three new officials would be reduced by 47%.
The Greek Football Federation’s Professional Football Committee made the following decisions at today’s meeting.
By 7 votes in favour, 2 against and 3 abstentions, in accordance with Article 53 par. 2 of the EPO Statute, it accepted the proposal of Mr. Bennet, presented to the Committee by the President of the EPO, Mr. Panagiotis Baltakos, regarding the composition of the Central Committee of the Arbitration, which you have as follows:
Steve Bennett (England) – Referee responsible for appointing professional category officials (Super League 1 and Super League 2)
Joao Capella (Portugal) – VAR manager
Fritz Stuhilk (Austria) – advisor to arbitration observers.
Members of the Central Arbitration Committee for Amateur Football are:
Stavros Mandalos – Head of Education, Training and Development of Official Referees
Ioannis Spyropoulos – manager for the definition and development of amateur football
Antonis Karatsikas – Assistant Chief Referee
Eleni Lampadariou – head of women’s football organizations
It is noted that approx. Baltakos told EEP that the remuneration of the three foreign KED members will rise to 53% compared to the remuneration of foreign KED members last year.
