A Russian missile hit two residential buildings in the Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih on Tuesday, killing three people and injuring at least 36, the regional governor said, according to Reuters.

Among the injured are seven children.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyi, who was born and raised in Kryvyi Rih, reported on Telegram that the search is ongoing and “will continue as long as necessary.”

The search for people under the rubble continues,” Zelenskyy wrote in Telegram.

“Many are injured, some seriously, among them is a child.

“Two buildings were hit, one five-story, the other nine-story,” Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Governor Serhii Lysak wrote in Telegram. “The number of victims is constantly increasing, as is the number of children.”

The city is a frequent target of the Russians.
