08:24 Russian troops carried out a massive drone attack on the city of Odesa on the night from Sunday to Monday, causing damage to infrastructure and houses, the Southern Operational Command of Ukraine announced, The Kyiv Independent reports.
For an hour and a half, the air defense systems repelled waves of Shahed drones approaching the city from the Black Sea. During the night, 10 attack drones were shot down, the military said.
According to preliminary data, there are no casualties.
The attack hit an infrastructure object in Odesa and caused a fire, which was extinguished by firefighters. The attack also damaged administrative buildings in the city and broke windows in several houses. Debris from downed drones damaged commercial buildings in the area.
