
It’s been two years since Russian tanks rolled into Ukraine in the bloodiest attack on a European nation since World War II.
In a concerted effort, Western countries responded with unprecedented economic sanctions against the country led by Vladimir Putin. A leader who has been in power for more than 20 years and who will soon extend his mandate, after the election with a predictable result in March.
Putin never misses an opportunity to boast to the citizens that “the West predicted the collapse of the economy” and that there is actually “economic growth”.
If we choose to look only at certain numbers, it is difficult to deny the leader from the Kremlin.
